Our Veterinarians
Dr. Kate Killian
Veterinarian
Dr.Kate was born in Michigan and was raised in Ohio, where she attended Ohio State University. For her undergrad and vet school, Dr. Kate is currently living in Antioch with her husband Brad and her feline child, Nixon. Dr. Kate’s passions are motorcycle touring, and camping.
Dr. Mari Breeden
Veterinarian
Dr. Mari Breeden enjoys spending quality time with her family and her scruffy rescue dog and two sassy birds at home. She also enjoys eating delicious foods and hiking around the beautiful Bay Area. Dr. Breeden is a Bay Area native and graduated from Cal Poly Pomona undergraduate school with a Bachelor’s in Animal & Pre-veterinary Science and UC Davis Veterinary School. Dr. Breeden loves to take care of all pets and particularly enjoys providing client education and preventative medicine.
Our Staff
Beth
Beth is one of our RVTs and the Hospital Manager here at Adobe Animal Hospital. She has been in practice for about 44 years and attended Cosumnes River College. In all her years in veterinary medicine, she has worn many hats, from an RVT to Hospital Manager and many other positions within the veterinary field. In her free time, she loves to relax in her backyard, listen to the pond water, watch her koi, turtles and birds. She also enjoys hanging with her pet dog and cats, chatting with her family, and reading books, especially ones about serial killers.
Missy
RVT
Missy is an RVT here at Adobe Animal Hospital. She has been in the practice for 11 years and attended Carrington College. She prides herself in taking care of her patients and she has strong knowledge of pharmacology as well as a background in emergency medicine. She always attempts to create a safe and personlized anesthetic plan for every individual patient. In her free time, she likes listening to podcasts, reading books, swimming, and spending every possible moment with her chihuahua.
Heather
Veterinary Technician
Heather is one of our technicians here at Adobe Animal Hospital. She has been in practice for about 36 years and attended DVC and Lawton. Heather prides herself in her animal handling skills, and ability to read body language to minimize fear response and staff risk. She has efficient client education, task training, and dental education skills. In her free time, she participates in the national ranked cardigan welsh corgis, gardening, and collecting bearded iris.
Saoirse
Saoirse is a veterinary assistant here at Adobe Animal Hospital. She has been in practice for about 3 years and attended Diablo Valley College. She prides herself in being a constant student with the willingness to always wanting to learn more and add more skills to her repertoire. She tries to apply what she learns to get the best care possible for every patient. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, playing video games, watching spooky tv or movie, anime, cosplaying, live streaming, cooking, floral arranging, and collecting card games.
Michaela
Veterinary Assistant
Michaela has been in the veterinary practice for about 2 years and plans to enroll in the Penn Foster Vet Program. She takes great pride in treating her patients with the same love and care that she has for her own pets. Providing exceptional service is very important to her, and she puts in a lot of effort to ensure that both pets and their owners have a positive experience. In her free time, she likes to read, write, draw, play video games, and watch TV with her best friend and kitties.
Miranda
Lead CSR
Miranda has been in the veterinary practice for about 5 years and was homeschooled for her education. She prides herself in multitasking, detail-oriented, and quick learning skills. She enjoys being the first staff member to greet patients and get them settled after appointments. In her free time, she enjoys watching dirt track racing, spending time with her son and puppy, and attending car shows with her father.
Marissa
CSR
Marissa has been in the veterinary practice for about 2 years and attended Devry University. She takes pride in her patience and compassion for both the clients and their fur babies. Being a cat mom herself, she tries to uphold the best standard of care by actively listening to clients concerns in order to efficiently communicate their needs to the doctor. When she isn’t cuddled up with her kitty, she is watching a movie, playing video games with her best friend, Michaela, going to concerts with her sister, and exploring new sceneries.
